Pastor em. Paul Schleis, from Smyrna (outside of Nashville) TN, will now be serving as our vacancy pastor, at least through June 2026 as needed. Pastor Paul Schleis and his wife Denise retired in 2023, and moved down to Smyrna in Sept. 2023. Denise is a part time x-ray technologist, and will usually be staying up in Smyrna for work, church music, and running grandchildren to various events.
 

Pastor Paul and Denise Schleis are blessed with four children: Pastor Keith (Dawn) Schleis in Smyrna TN, John (Amy) Schleis in Kiel WI, Dr. Greg (Dr. Cait) Schleis in Greenville SC, and Adam (Kelsey) Schleis in Alton NH; and blessed with seven grandchildren.

Pastor Paul Schleis served from 1983-2023 in Elkton MI, Marathon City WI, and Green Bay WI.  Yes, he’s a thorough Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoys many types of music (polka included!).  He plans to spend long weeks (Fri.-Sun. or so) down in Augusta/Martinez, for any church duties  needed.
